Oma Sambal – An authentic Sumatran recipe, straight from grandma’s kitchen to your table. Grandma Lien made this delicious sambal and passed it down to her daughters and sons, who then passed it on to our generation. Made with love and passion, just as grandma and aunt make (or used to make) it. Not too spicy, slightly sweet, full of flavor, and a tribute to a rich, beautiful, and warm tradition. Similar to sambal oelek, but also resembles sambal badjak.
